KINGPINS
The Kingpins Drumline brings the excitement of drumming to students with special needs. The Kingpins program leads students to a greater appreciation of music by playing drums with recorded music. All skill levels are welcome.
Crystal Lake Kingpins
The Crystal Lake Kingpins Drumline is a cooperative effort with the Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association (NISRA) and the Crystal Lake Strikers. The group rehearses weekly at Strikers' Hall in Crystal Lake, IL. The program was established in January 2019 and the students had their first public performance at the Strikers Evening of Percussion event on February 23, 2019.
Southwest Michigan Kingpins
The Southwest Michigan Kingpins present their programs at schools and other venues around the greater Kalamazoo, Michigan area. The program was established in January 2022 and has presented classes for more than 100 students at K RESA School, Loy Norrix High School, and the Portage Park District.

KINGPINS AT YOUR SCHOOL
BRING THE KINGPINS PROGRAM TO YOUR STUDENTS
The Kingpins drumming program is available as a mobile offering, where the Strikers organization brings instructors and all equipment to your school, in order to host a program for your students on-site. The program is fully sponsored by The Strikers and is brought to your school at no cost.
For most schools class periods of approximately 45 minutes are used with approximately 12 students per class, and the class learns some beats and plays along to recorded music. It is a really fun experience!
We will bring everything needed for the program, all we need are students, and a place to play drums and have a great time!
